Basketball NSW, together with Northern Inland Basketball League, are excited to let everyone know about two fun inter-highschool 3x3 Basketball tournaments running in August: one in Armidale and the other in Gunnedah.
Both events are open to boys and girls teams, with a focus on fun, participation and inclusion.
They are school events, so individuals cannot register. School sports coordinators do need to be ones who register teams.

📅: Friday 15th August 2025
🏟: Gunnedah Basketball Stadium at the Gunnedah showgrounds
Thank you to Gunnedah Basketball Association for hosting.
Both events run from 9.00am to 2.30pm.
(Sign in at 9.00am. Games commence at 9.30am. All games finish at 2.20pm. Depart at 2.30pm).
Choose to attend just one tournament, or both depending on where your school is situated.
Local high schools are invited to nominate up to 2 teams in each division to participate.
Available divisions:
Years 7/8 Boys
Years 9-11 Boys
Years 7-11 Girls
4 players per team (3 on the court and 1 sub).
COST: $24 nomination fee per team for each event ($6 per player). Invoices will be emailed to the school the week prior.
LUNCH: Not included but BBQ lunch available for purchase. Or BYO lunch.
SCORERS / COACHES: No need to bring scorers or coaches. Coaches are not allowed during the game of 3x3 basketball. 1 or 2 students are asked to score the game after their own.
We're hoping to give kids, who might otherwise miss out, an opportunity to play basketball against other schools in the area.
If schools wish to nominate teams, we ask that the school sports coordinator completes the applicable google form below to secure your teams' places in the competition.
